Attendance: 16
Achievements:Cleaned up along the northern bank of Bullockhead Creek, for about half a kilometre each on upstream and downstream sides of the Spine St bridge. Filled one 10 cub metre bin with hard rubbish and another one with discarded metal (car panels, hot water services, building rubbish, etc. etc.). Very disappointing to see extent of building, electrical and plumbing tradesman dumped rubbish, as well as car bodies, panels, engine blocks and parts.

Given our support of CUA Day (see Year to Date report below) on our regular first Sunday working bee day (3 March), there will be a bush rehab working on Sunday, 10 March. Now that we are getting some good rains is a good time to make prior preparations for plantings in upcoming months.
Matthew Palmer and Gary Goldsworthy have kindly offered to coordinate this bee - thanks guys!

7:00 - 9:00am |
Working Bee
Location: cnr Tennent St & Westlake Drive, Westlake, at the Big Fig.
Attendance: 12 (welcome to two newcomers!)
Achievements:
Maintenance of plantings and weed control on eastern, northern and western flanks of the 'Big Fig'. Good to see continuing healthy growth of our plantings dating from 1996 to September this year. Also natural regeneration is occurring again under the Fig Tree, after significant trampling earlier this year by kids using the tree as an adventure playground but causing damage and littering in the process.
